The app maps midi data played back from a DAW, or a live source back into DMX format and outputs it over ArtNet. The app uses one of three fixed mappings to convert either Notes, CC or Aftertouch data into DMX channel data. Channel 1, note/CC 0 becomes DMX Universe 0, channel 1. Four midi channels form one DMX Universe, and up to four Universes are supported. This pairs well with our DMX2Midi app which provides the inverse mapping, allowing DMX data to be recorded as midi, then played back at show time, and converted to DMX by this app. Tutorials and technical info are available on our website www.dctsystems.co.uk
